What’s Brewing?

HarvestFest Takes Over 🎃 

The Scarecrows are taking over downtown for this year’s HarvestFest. This Saturday, October 19th, head downtown to Glover Park for tons of fall fun. You can enjoy:

  • HarvestFest Market & Halloween Happenings Kids Festival – 9 am to 5 pm

  • Touch-A-Truck – 10 am – 2 pm

  • Pie Eating Contest – 11:30 am (ages 6-12) and 12:00 pm (ages 13 and up)

  • Costume Contest 2 pm to 3 pm (contestants arrive at 1:30 pm)

  • A College Football Watch Area

Cherokee Heights Arts Festival 👩‍🎨 

On Saturday, take a stroll down Freyer Drive NE and enjoy the 16th Annual Cherokee Heights Arts Festival! Enjoy talented artists, spunky live music, local food and drink, and fun for the kids.

Steeped in tradition and love for art and music, this is a perfect way to spend your Saturday.

City News 🏙️ 

  • Cobb Diaper Day- Drop off: October 22 and 24 from 2-6pm at Cobb EMC Solar Flower Garden

    • All sizes needed

    • All donated diapers will be given to local charities to help ease some of the burden of the hundreds of families with infants and young children they serve.

  • Luckey’s BBQ 2nd Annual Health Fair

    • October 20th 1p-4p

    • Participants can receive free blood pressure check, nutrition assessment, adult and children health screening, CPR demonstration, and more!

  • Early Voting Opens in Cobb County.

    • Monday through Saturday 7am-7pm and Sunday from noon-5pm
